We now have even more information about the new Rian Johnson film, the third installment in the Benoit Blanc series! This third film, which is called Wake Up Dead Man, is projected to premiere later this year, has previously released a photo from the production, and an ambiguous teaser trailer. But now we have a teaser with a bit more information. By the way, not that anyone reading this doesn’t already know this info, but previous two films in the series are Knives Out and Glass Onion.
Johnson had tweeted out several links to video clips from the teaser before its release.
Here’s the whole thing!
So, what do we know?
The crime at the center of the film is referred to as “the impossible crime,” “the holy grail,” and “dressed as a miracle… but it’s just a murder.” Benoit Blanc says these lines, and he adds (to the last one), “and I solve murders.”
The trailer also features the names of the characters played by the actors, a roster which includes such luminaries as Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
Here’s that image:

I’m so excited! Stay tuned for more of our Knives Out series coverage!
