My favorite designer of ready-to-wear fashion, Rachel Antonoff, has just announced her new collection… and I’m so excited. I’m a fan of her bold, whimsical prints, especially her pasta print, and her horse girl print. The brand’s got great politics and inclusive sizing. And I especially adore the prints and patterns she’s releasing, this autumn.
Will pieces from this collection be in my holiday gift guide this year? Yes, you betcha. But they’re all so great I thought I should spotlight them here and now. Also, in case they sell out before the holidays, which is always an option.
Now, Antonoff has had crimey prints before (see her Sopranos-themed “Tony’s Toile” from a few years back), but this is the first time we’ve got a whole collection. And it’s NOIR!

Fall ’26 is an ode to silver screen sirens and the sleuths who pursue them: plaids and pointer dogs evoke the magnifying glass-toting PIs of yore, while an embroidered lipstick scrawl cheekily subverts getting caught with makeup on your collar. Unlike our favorite noirs, life is rarely black and white; whether you want to be the detective, the culprit, or the mystery, we promise you’ll never be boring.
