I think Kaley Cuoco must love thrillers. Because she’s made several, now. She starred in the two-season-long true crime parody Based on a True Story, and the two-season-long series The Flight Attendant, and now there’s a release date for her third.
The new show, Vanished, a four-part miniseries about a woman whose boyfriend goes missing while they are on a train from Paris to the South of France, will be airing on MGM+ in February of next year. Of all Cuoco’s crime projects, I am the most interested in this one, partially because I love crime stories set on trains and partially because I love crime stories set in France.
Sam Claflin co-stars as the disappearing petit-ami who may or may not have a complicated past.
(NOTE: MY colleague Oliver Scialdone also pointed out to me that Kaley’s voiceover work as Harley Quinn in the cartoon Harley Quinn might constitute a fourth crime show credit… since Harley is, obviously, a criminal. So, food for thought.)
Read more about the production, here.
I know what I’m doing in February.
