From the episode:
KRISTEN: We’re calling this episode the summer reading preview, but it can also just be the summer book buying preview.
LAYNE: Yes.
KRISTEN: Purchasing books and reading books are not entirely the same thing—and that’s fine.
LAYNE: That’s fine. You can just buy them, stack them up and look at them longingly. That’s also valid. That’s what I do with a lot of books.
KRISTEN: When you buy a book, you’re supporting the author, even if you never read it.
LAYNE: And you can tell yourself you’re gonna read it someday.
KRISTEN: And you will!
LAYNE: You will!
KRISTEN: Someday you will read all of those books.
LAYNE: All of them. Totally.
KRISTEN: So it’s fine to keep adding more books. Keep adding books until you live in a pile of books.
LAYNE: Yeah, absolutely. Co-signed.
